Harmonized System code (HS code)

The Harmonized System, commonly referred to as HS, is a systematic list used to classify goods that is designed to simplify tariffs, trade transactions, transportation, and statistics, improving upon previous classification systems. Currently, the classification of goods in Indonesia is based on the Harmonized System and is incorporated into a tariff list called the Indonesian Customs Tariff Book (BTKI). In Indonesia, this classification system uses an 8-digit numbering system in the Indonesian Customs Tariff Book (BTKI).
