What is meant by VPTI?

VPTI is the act of ensuring compliance between import permit documents with supporting documents and the physical specifications of certain imported goods that is carried out by a surveyor appointed by the Minister of Trade. The results of the VPTI done by the surveyor is documented in the form of a Surveyor Report as one of the required documents for importing goods.
